How does your technology work?

Face Video Analysis via Photoplethysmography (PPG): We use advanced AI algorithms to extract photoplethysmographic (PPG) signals from a video of a user’s face, captured via the camera of a smartphone or tablet. The smartphone camera records changes in the amount of light reflected and absorbed by the skin. These changes are linked, for example, to heartbeats: each time the heart pumps blood, the amount of blood in the vessels changes, altering the reflected light. This technology enables real-time measurement of vital signs such as heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and stress levels. Some relevant research:

Voice Biomarker Analysis: We analyze short voice samples (30 seconds) recorded via a smartphone’s microphone to detect changes in mental, cognitive, and respiratory health. By analyzing vocal features such as tone and rhythm, our algorithm can identify signs of conditions such as depression, respiratory diseases, and cognitive decline. Some relevant research:

External eye photo analysis: We use advanced AI algorithms to predict levels of systemic biomarkers such as glycated hemoglobin, cholesterol, eGFR, and more from external eye photos.
